Ok here is one of my favs and it is also a fav of the tiny birds in my northcoast garden, the main base is a pretty plate I found at the Discovery Cancer shop..I cemented on a mirror coaster I found at Ross's..then I picked up a martini glass at the dollar store..doubleboiled some wax down and that was poured into the glass...once it cooled I turned it upside down and salted it..the little sheep was an ornament I found in my closet..now to attach..I had a common vase that I turned upside down and glued with epoxy to the bottom of the plate..very simple to get a dowl or broomstick for that matter and balance on it...if you want it solid..stuff the vase with newspaper so it is where you want it and then do the expoxy..whahh lah Margarita birdbath! but,,gently fill with water DON'T spray it with a jet of water as you can dislodge your decorations.. the sky is the limit! oh almost forgot..the shaker I found on sale at Ross's..got two shakers for 3 bucks!
I love to create whimsical things from found objects. Share my "sunny days" (yea right..foggy Humboldt County..vbg) as I create from that old watering can in the barn or that cracked pot in the falling down old shed..yard sales, Dollar stores..estate sales all take on a different aspect when viewed from the eye of "A Garden Bling Designer!"

Crooked crazy pots!
I used a flag stand I found at Michaels and arranged the pots throught the stands..but first I spray painted the pots with a can of bronze paint I bought at the hardware store; You need to weight the pots down with gravel to gets the pots to remain in place..Can't wait until the lobelia and petunia bloom!!
